Palais Jamai Fes, an Arab-Moorish palace with an exquisite Moroccan restaurant

Palais Jamai is located just steps from Fes Old Medina and positioned around a magnificent Andalusian garden of orange, lemon and palm trees and medicinal herbs. Designed and built in 1879 by Sultan Hassan I Grand Vizir, the palace was transformed into a hotel in the 1930s, preserving its arab-moorish style and magnificent interiors. Its restaurant al-fassia, with its blue "zellige" and carved stucco, treats us with its traditionnal Fassi cuisine; Salads, briouats, zaalouk, sweet tomatoes, Fish with chermoula, Monkfish Tajine with vegetables, divine couscous, chicken with almonds, milk pastilla will make you want to stay forever in this eternal city.
